World Press Freedom Day Celebrations. 2nd - 3rd May 2007, Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi Kenya

Theme: Freedom of the press, safety of journalists and impunity

UNESCO Nairobi Regional Office for Communication and Information in partnership with the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), Norwegian Embassy, United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) and UNEP will organise a Regional Conference to celebrate World Press Freedom Day from the 2nd - 3rd of May 2007 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.

Participants for the conference will be from Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Somalia, Southern Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
