As the Regional Office for Science and Technology in Africa, the UNESCO Office in Nairobi assists 47 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa with the development and implementation of UNESCO's Science Programmes.
As UNESCO Cluster Office, it assists Burundi, Eritrea, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda in all UNESCO's programmes (i.e Education, Natural Sciences, Culture, Social Sciences, Communication and Information.) Through its programmes, the office contributes to peace and security among nations. Highlights
